Connect Gravity to Claude, ChatGPT, Codex and Grok

Say "save this to Gravity" in Claude and it lands at the top of your list on your phone and Mac. Ask ChatGPT what you noted about the boiler last month and it searches your notes. Gravity works with any AI app that supports MCP connectors, through one server:

https://mcp.gravitynotes.app/mcp

It comes with Gravity Sync. Turn on Gravity Sync in the Gravity app first, then add the connector and sign in with the same Apple or Google account.

Claude

Gravity is in Claude's connector directory. On claude.ai, the desktop app or the mobile app, open Settings → Connectors, find Gravity and select Connect. Gravity asks what Claude may do, then you sign in.

In Claude Code:

claude mcp add --transport http gravity https://mcp.gravitynotes.app/mcp

Then run /mcp, pick gravity and sign in in your browser.

ChatGPT

Open Plugins, select +, choose Add custom MCP server, paste the address and select Create as a plugin. Sign in when ChatGPT asks. ChatGPT confirms each change before it makes it.

Codex

codex mcp add gravity --url https://mcp.gravitynotes.app/mcp
codex mcp login gravity

Grok Bot

Ask your bot: "Add a custom MCP server called gravity at https://mcp.gravitynotes.app/mcp". Select Authorize on the card it posts and sign in.

What your AI app can do

Ask for What happens
"Save this to Gravity" A new note at the top of your list
"Add a todo to call the vet" A note starting todo:
"What did I note about the boiler?" Searches your notes the way the app does
"What did I capture last week?" Lists notes by date, tag or state
"Tick off milk in my shopping note" Changes just that line
"Bring my gift ideas back to the top" Rescues the note
"Archive the notes about the move" Moves them to Archive
"Delete the duplicate" Moves it to Deleted Notes, where you can restore it

Your AI app can't permanently delete anything. Changes reach your other devices the way any synced edit does.

When you connect, you choose whether the app can change notes or only read them.

Disconnect an app

Open Gravity → Settings → Gravity Sync → AI apps and select Disconnect next to the app. It loses access straight away.

Privacy

Notes your AI app reads go to that app's provider under their terms. Gravity keeps a record of which connected app changed which note, never the note text, for 90 days. The privacy policy has the details.
