Terms and Conditions
These Terms govern your use of Gravity. By using Gravity, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the software.
1. Use of Gravity
- Gravity is provided for personal, single-user note-taking. No account is required. On iPhone and Mac, optional iCloud sync is available to keep notes in sync across your Apple devices.
- You are responsible for all content you create, store, export, or delete in Gravity and for complying with applicable laws when using that content.
2. Ownership and License
- Gravity is licensed, not sold. Subject to these Terms, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Gravity on devices you own or control.
- All rights not expressly granted remain with the product owner.
3. User Content
- Your notes remain yours. They are stored locally on your device in a SQLite database.
- You control exports. Once exported, your data is subject to the destination’s policies, and you are responsible for safeguarding it.
4. Privacy
Please review the accompanying Privacy Policy to understand how information is handled within Gravity.
5. Acceptable Use
- Do not use Gravity to store or transmit content that is illegal, harmful, infringing, or violates others’ rights.
- Do not attempt to interfere with or reverse engineer Gravity’s operation except where permitted by law.
6. Updates
I may release updates or changes. Some updates may be required to continue using Gravity. These Terms apply to updates unless explicitly replaced.
7. Disclaimers
- Gravity is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.
- I do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, nor do I guarantee that data loss will never occur (for example, due to device failure). I recommend exporting regularly.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the product owner will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of information, profits, or revenues, arising from your use of Gravity. In no event will aggregate liability exceed the amount you paid for Gravity, if any.
9. Termination
You may stop using Gravity at any time by uninstalling it. I may suspend or terminate your license if you materially violate these Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of your local jurisdiction unless a specific governing law is required by the App Store terms where you obtained the App.

If you downloaded Gravity from Apple’s App Store, your use is also subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
