Gravity Sync (Beta), AI apps and keyboard editing

Build 20 ·

  • Sync your notes with Gravity on iPhone, iPad and Android with Gravity Sync (Beta). Set it up in Settings. It's free during the beta.
  • Bring your whole Mac library into Gravity Sync.
  • Edit the same note on two devices and Gravity Sync keeps both versions.
  • Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Codex or Grok to your notes in Settings → Gravity Sync → AI apps. They can save notes to your list, search it and bring notes back to the top.
  • See which AI apps are connected, and disconnect any of them.
  • Click a note link from your AI app and the note opens in Gravity.
  • Press ⌘Return to edit the selected note. Press it again to save and return to the notes list.
  • Click Gravity's menu bar icon to open its menu, with Notes, recent notes and Settings.
  • Gravity's menu bar icon is black and white, like the other icons in your menu bar.
  • While a Gravity window is open, Gravity shows its menus at the top of the screen and sits in the Dock and app switcher. Turn on Keep Gravity in the Dock in Settings to keep it there after you close its windows.
  • Pick your own global shortcut for opening Notes in Settings → Keyboard Shortcuts.
  • Press ⌘+ or ⌘− in any Gravity window to change the note text size, and ⌘0 to reset it.
  • Headings in the notes list and search results match your note text size, so previews show the text under them.
  • At larger text sizes, drag the notes list wider. Tags stay on one line.
  • Search for a tag on its own, like todo:, to see your newest tagged notes first.
  • When notes match a search equally well, the newer note comes first.
  • Gravity never asks for keychain access.
  • Fixed keyboard focus when you start editing a note.
  • Fixed duplicate conflict copies when two devices change the same note at once.
  • Fixed Settings opening as an empty window after launch.
