Live Markdown and checklists
- The editor formats Markdown as you type, and a bar above the keyboard adds headings, bold, lists and checklists. You can turn it off in Settings, under Reading & writing.
- Start a line with - [ ] to make a checklist, then tick items in the stream or in the open note.
- Strikethrough, third-level headings and labelled links now display correctly.
- Long notes open on one page. Tap Edit and the same page becomes the editor, with the cursor on the line you were reading.
- When you archive or delete a note, the notes below slide up to fill the space, and new notes rise into place at the top.
- Search results no longer freeze the app, and accented letters match however you type them.
- If two devices change the same note, iCloud sync keeps a copy, so you keep both edits.
